It was important for me to find a career that could encompass my passion for interpersonal analysis, affinity for marketing and design, and strength as a technical writer. An internship in corporate training and development gave me the opportunity to learn and implement key elements of instructional design, collaborate with subject matter experts, and develop skills using multimedia and e-learning authoring software. In my roles since then, I have operated a number of learning management systems and become adept at handling various administrative training needs. I am comfortable speaking to groups with diverse backgrounds and diligent in researching the audience/topic to ensure learner engagement and comprehension are achieved. I thoroughly enjoy instructional design and will continue to focus on helping adult learners succeed in the workplace.
In 2021, I earned a M.A. degree in Learning Design & Technology (concentration: eLearning Design & Implementation) from the University of Colorado, Denver. Additionally, I have a B.A. degree in Psychology & Social Behavior and a B.A. degree in International Studies, both earned in 2015 from the University of California, Irvine.
